Prof. Dr. Jaap de Koning is one of the directors of SEOR. He is a labour economist with a background in econometrics. He has a working experience of more than 25 years in research and advisory work in the field of labour market and related topics. His fields of expertise are: (evaluation of) labour market policy, education and training, social security (in relation to the labour market), the co-ordination between labour demand and supply, and model building. Jaap de Koning is appointed as a professor of labour market policy at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam at the Institute of Labour Market Policy. His research and teaching activities within the framework of this institute concentrate on ICT and labour/education.
